Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you interact with the site. This policy also covers comparable browser storage, such as local storage, used by web applications.

2. Essential Browser Storage

CrossGL uses essential browser storage to provide the website and authenticated product experience. It does not currently deploy CrossGL-controlled advertising or analytics cookies.

  • Authentication state — Firebase Authentication may use browser storage and temporary state during sign-in flows to keep your account session secure.
  • Cookie notice preference — CrossGL stores your acknowledgement locally in your browser so the notice is not shown repeatedly.
  • OAuth state — authentication providers may use temporary state to complete a sign-in request and prevent request forgery.

3. Analytics and Advertising

CrossGL does not currently operate Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other CrossGL-controlled analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and the browser notice before enabling the new technology.

4. Third-Party Storage

Firebase Authentication supports account sign-in and may use browser storage or temporary state cookies as part of an authentication flow. Those technologies are controlled by the provider and are necessary for authentication.

You can review Firebase's privacy information for details about its authentication technology.

5. How to Manage Browser Storage

You can control cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing Firebase authentication storage signs you out.

Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. The location of these settings varies by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Important Note

Blocking or clearing essential authentication storage can prevent you from signing in and using authenticated features of our platform.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
